Today is my first day on a 6 week trip through the United States combining work and a bit of fun along the way. I’ll be travelling through Florida, New York, New Orleans, Salt Lake City and San Francisco.
My last (and only) visit to the US was to SF in 2009, when I launched Mozzler at the Realtime Techcrunch conference. Looking back I regret spending too much time on that trip writing code and not enough time networking and having fun, something I’ll fix this time around.
I’ll be attending four technology conferences across the US and finish with two weeks in San Francisco.
After 30 hours of transit with little sleep, I am now in Saint Petersburg (Florida not Russia!) for the Frontend design conference. I have a couple of days to un-jetlag and explore some local sights before the conference starts on Thursday.
